Darcia Roache
Darcia Roache is from the beautiful island of Jamaica and a PhD Candidate in the College of Education, Department of Educational Administration at the University of Saskatchewan, since October 2017.
She migrated to Saskatoon, Canada for educational pursuits. Saskatoon comprises several unique features and/or attractions: beautiful rivers, facilities and attractions, on-time transportation, friendly people and city, however, the winter can be extreme.
Black History Month is a time of reflection on the contributions and achievements accomplished over the years. It is a reminder that we can achieve success, standing on the history of others who have been where we want to go in terms of education.
